Worship

Our weekly service starts at 11.00 am each Sunday. The service usually finishes around 12:15 (give or take 15 minutes). We do not have a regular evening service, although we do meet monthly to pray together.

Communion is integral to the worship each Sunday.

Tea and coffee (with biscuits, and, if we’re in a celebratory mood, cake) are served immediately following the service, and a creche is available throughout. We regularly share a buffet lunch together.

Children are an important part of our church. During term time, Bubbles, Splash and Xstream provide appropriate worship and learning experiences during the morning service time.

What’s our worship like?

We have a contemporary musical style, but we also wish to continue the musical tradition of previous generations. Most services therefore have a mix of contemporary songs and traditional hymns.

Easter morning 2008Occasionally we do something a little different that helps keep us fresh and thinking about our faith in a new way.

The worship team is flexible and varies from week to week. Worship is usually guitar or keyboard driven with various other instruments supporting the singing. We occasionally use good quality backing tracks. Our worship team is always happy to welcome new musicians, or people willing to operate the projection system or sound desk. If you are interested in joining the worship team, please speak with any of the worship leaders.
