Mission
Our mission statement is:
“To be faithful to Jesus Christ by being his disciplemakers in the city centre of Glasgow”
As well as encouraging individuals within the church to serve God through their daily life, we also have the following expressions of our mission:
Adelaides
Adelaides is our city centre business ministry, based in the church premises, comprising a guest house, children’s nursery and meeting/event spaces.
BiG - Business in Glasgow
BiG - Business in Glasgow is a non-profit organisation serving the business and offices community and exploring connections between work and spirituality.
International mission
In today’s complex, globalised and often dangerous world, Christians have a responsibility to be involved in demonstrating God’s character through practical application of justice and peacemaking.
APBC have always been involved in world mission, and currently have several members involved in various parts of the world - their details are found on this site (see the links on the right).
We are also linked with bms world mission, the UK Baptist community’s overseas development and mission organisation.
