I really enjoyed the concert the other week with Father’s Song. Following on from this I would be pleased if you could let me know how to contact them directly to try and organise a concert with them next year as we are hoping to take a group from the Church of the Nazarene in Paisley to Romania and therefore are looking for fundraising events.

Hi Hugh, we don’t have a Sunday evening service, I’m afraid, although we do have a prayer meeting on a Sunday evening once a month. I hope you’ll be able to join us for our morning service sometime.

I was reading a piece in todays Herald where it reported the execution of a Christian in North Korea. I immediately thought of your up and coming series in Revelation and thought I pose this question: “Would the national Christians in North Korea relate better to the Book of Revelation than we do in the West”?

That may be true, but one has to ask whether we wish to change our own behaviour or affect that of those around us. After all, one person can’t make a difference on their own. Thus, I believe that there is a need for people to be willing to take the lead in a way that people will actually take notice because these ‘leaders’ are taking it so seriously.
That would be one of my main arguments for going vegan. It may not be strictly necessary on an individual level, but I expect it will have a far greater impact in terms of the people you meet.
So my final question would be how much we care about it? Do we care enough to moderate our meat consumption, or does it – let me rephrase that – do the people who are affected by it deserve anything more?
We could always consult the Bible…

By having the love between two people as it’s centre.

The only thing missing in an English or Welsh Humanist ceremony is the legal status it should have.

A religious ceremony is simply a Humanist ceremony with some dogma tagged on!
